The following resources are available for dissemination of information about the classes you are teaching:

• Canvas- Canvas is IU's learning management system (LMS) and that should be the primary system you use to manage course data.  Canvas is the only location qualified for storing FERPA regulated information like class rosters, grades, etc.
• Class descriptions - You can add additional course descriptions as noted in the IU KB page: Add and maintain class descriptions
• Course homepages - You are strongly encouraged to use Canvas for your course materials. If you want to augment that with a web site on the Luddy server, please contact us using the normal help desk. Please note that these Luddy-hosted course pages should never be used for any student information that falls into the restricted classification under FERPA law (including class rosters, grades, etc). All such information should only be stored in Canvas which is qualified for FERPA-regulated data.
