Pre-Award resources
Pivot is a comprehensive worldwide funding opportunities database updated daily to help you lcoate funding from external sources to support your research.
In addition to Pivot, the IU Research Funding Search Tool provides information and links to internal funding, corporate and foundation funding, limited submission opportunities, and Grants.gov.
Indiana University supports research through internal funding including Seed Grant, Emerging Frontiers, IU Research Equipment Fund, Bridge Funding Program, and External Resubmission Grant.
- IU internal funding applications are submitted by the PI.
- The Luddy Contracts and Grants Pre-Award Team can assist with budget preparation for an internal funding opportunity. If assistance is needed, please fill out the Luddy Contracts and Grants Proposal Intake form.
The Fiscal Officer for an IU internal funding application is the Luddy Director of Finance: Anna Dove, annadove@iu.edu.
RDS and Luddy Contracts and Grants Pre-Award work in conjunction to support successful proposal submissions. All Luddy PIs can use the content creation and writing support services offered by RDS. Large scale, collaborative, multidisciplinary proposals are strongly encouraged to work with RDS.
